Danny Goins scored 22 points, Casey Baker added 16 and Armond Battle scored 14 to lead Urbana University (Ohio) to a 98-64 win over the University of Hawaii at Hilo on Friday night.

The men’s collegiate basketball game was played before about 200 fans at the Keaau High School gym.

The Blue Knights from Urbana improved to 6-6, while the Vulcans dropped to 1-7.

Mychael Hearn led UH-Hilo with 12 points. CJ Brown and Kiel Myers each added 10 points.

Urbana raced to a 41-24 halftime lead, and the Vulcans had 19 turnovers in the first 20 minutes. The hosts finished with 31 turnovers.

Prior to playing UH-Hilo, the Blue Knights played two games on Oahu, falling to Hawaii Pacific University 68-66 and BYU-Hawaii 103-88.

Urbana, an NCAA Division II school, plays in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
